BIS #6531 Constitution Day 2021 at Don Bosco Kawant

by Cleric Alan D'silva for BISMumbai

Aware of the need to train young minds about honouring people who have been instrumental in procuring independence for our country and those who drafted the Indian Constitution, Don Bosco High School Kawant celebrated ‘Constitution Day.’ The entire school including teachers, with 300 students, participated in the 30-minute event, on November 26 2021.

The programme began with a few questions posed by Principal-Father Rixson Nigrel about the significance of the occasion. Thereafter, the students of classes VI-IX presented a short skit emphasizing the important role that the Constitution plays in the regulation and administration of the country.

Krupa Rathwa then read out the Preamble to the Constitution. Representatives from classes VI-VIII explained the history and reason for the celebration of this day. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
