Don Bosco Boarding, Narukot, marked a significant milestone in its history with the inauguration of a new building for its boarders and a state-of-the-art drinking water system. The ceremony, held on February 16, 2025, at 10 am, was a moment of joy and gratitude for the entire Don Bosco Narukot community.
The event commenced with a heartfelt prayer service in Gujarati. The gathering prayed to God to bless their new boarding house and to make it a place of comfort, joy, and growth for the boarders.
The guest of honor, Fr. Gregory Almeida, the Economer of Mumbai Province, graciously cut the ribbon to declare the new facilities open. In his address, Fr. Gregory shared his personal experience of staying at Don Bosco, Narukot, in the past and marveled at the huge difference he witnessed today. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Elson Barretto and the Narukot community for their tireless efforts in making this vision a reality.
Fr. Daresh Rathwa, in his vote of thanks, specially acknowledged the contribution of Mr. Minoo Naicker and his team Milando creation who played a pivotal role in renovating the technical building into a boarding house for the boarders. Their selfless efforts have provided a comfortable and safe space for the boarders to live and grow.
