On 30 July 2022, the first conference of the academic year was held at Don Bosco School & Junior College, Nashik. All the teaching and non-teaching staff was present for the conference.

The rector, Fr Royal D'Abreo, gave a brief talk on the life of Don Bosco and acquainted the teaching and non-teaching staff with Don Bosco’s Preventive System of education in which loving kindness is at the centre of all activity.

He appealed to all the teachers to follow the Preventive System of education, and stated that the good compliments by teachers to students (a word in the ear) are remembered forever and carry great significance in their lives. In the end, Fr D’Abreo also answered the queries and doubts of the teachers.

Fr D’Abreo concluded the seminar with a quote by St John Bosco: Education is a matter of the heart of which God is the sole master.
