Salesians' Parents Day for the family members of Salesians residing in Gujarat, MadhyaPradesh and Rajasthan, was organised at Don Bosco Kapadvanj on 02 February 2020. A total of 35 parents and siblings of Salesians participated in the daylong get-together.

Welcomed by Father Mayank Parmar-Rector Don Bosco Kapadvanj, an introductory 'knowing each other' session was played out. Father Pravin Makwana then presented Blessed Mamma Margaret as an important inspiration for Don Bosco mission, and asked the parents present to be part of the Salesian mission. Fathers Dinesh Vasava and Ashwin Macwan then conducted a lively game-session of 'housie'.

Provincial Councillor and Rector-ParishPriest at Don Bosco Vadodara, Father Isaac Arackaparambil presided at the concelebrated Eucharist, thanking all the parents for offering their sons to Don Bosco. Reflecting on the Presentation of the Lord, he also shared reflections of how good family upbringing enables the boys to be priests today. Group photographs and a sumptuous lunch fellowship ended with gratitude and praising God, with everyone departing back home.
