A group of 25 students enrolled in the Women in Refinish course at Don Bosco Chinchwad participated in a day-long picnic to Khadakwasla, celebrating the nearing completion of their training.
The Refinish course is a collaborative initiative supported by Don Bosco Chinchwad, BASF, Sevasahayog and Mahindra & Mahindra, aimed at equipping women with skills relevant to the automotive refinishing industry.
As part of the outing, the group visited the Zapurza Museum of Art and Culture, took in the scenic views of the Khadakwasla Dam, and enjoyed moments of relaxation and bonding with peers and instructors. The experience reflected values integral to Salesian education - joy, unity, optimism, and enthusiasm - fostering camaraderie and a spirit of shared growth.
The event was also an expression of Don Bosco's holistic educational approach, emphasizing not just technical training, but also personal development and community engagement.
The participants expressed their appreciation to Sevasahayog for sponsoring and organizing the outing, which proved to be a memorable and meaningful experience for the students.
