BIS #6325 Suvees Meet with DBDS Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs

Starting in 2001, Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Mumbai, has been in the forefront of empowering women through various skills. The Suvees Meet had an interaction with the DBDS beneficiaries, 'Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs'.
Manisha Dangle who learnt a skill to make ladoos and is now running her business from Wadala Mumbai, financially and emotionally supported by DBDS, fulfilling long cherished dreams and aspirations!
Vocational Skills Training and Development Skills Training are held in rural communities for young and adults to train them. These skills include Tailoring, Computers, Tally, Beautician course, Mehendi design, Candle making, Masala making, ladoo making and the like.
Many such women, like Manisha Dangle, are involved in Micro Level business activities. These women from economically challenged backgrounds today are Independent entrepreneurs and are financially supporting their families, due to the MumbaiSalesians' DBDS !
