On the auspicious occasion of the commemoration of St. Dominic Savio, the community of Don Bosco Nerul live streamed the Holy Eucharist for all the Catholic students and teachers for the 1st time. The students of other faiths had an online prayer service conducted by their respective teachers. A variety of online quizzes on St. Dominic Savio were also conducted for the entire school and the junior college. Father Thomas Chalissery celebrated the Holy Eucharist and shared meaningful insights from the life of St. Dominic Savio. He related it to the current situation across the world. He also exhorted the need for all to strive to become saints in everyday life.

Understanding the need of the hour and the powerful use of the online medium, the community now plans to go ahead with online streaming of good morning talks for the entire school occasionally. There are plans to also live stream the Independence Day Flag Hoisting and other forthcoming events so that the children do not miss the essence and value of such celebrations at school.
