BIS #7337 IIHM Teachers Day Awards 2024

On September 27,  2024, three of the teachers from Don Bosco School and Junior College, Yerwada were honored with the prestigious "IIHM Teachers Award 2024" by the Indian Institute of Hotel Management. Mrs Archana Misal from the Primary section, Mrs Naina Gamare from the Secondary section, and Mr Rajesh Yedlelu from the Junior College were recognized for their outstanding contributions to education. They were nominated and invited to attend the award ceremony at the IIHM Institute, Viman Nagar. The event commenced at 3:30 pm with a warm introduction to the institution. They also showed a video about the competition of the pastry making they had recently been to, where Sanjeev Kapoor was the chief guest

The hospitality extended by the students of IIHM was remarkable. They guided the guests with great enthusiasm.

The Founder of IIHM, Dr Suborno Bose, addressed the gathering via video conference, speaking highly of the teachers and expressing deep appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

The Director, Mr Rupinder Singh Khurana, highlighted that this was the 11th edition of the Teachers’ Day Award Ceremony. He also recognized the tireless efforts of educators, commending their invaluable contributions to the field of education.

Several Principals were awarded alongside our teachers for their excellence in the field of education. A cultural dance performance by the students of IIHM added vibrancy to the occasion, making it even more memorable.

This year’s award ceremony was themed "World Tourism Day - Tourism & Peace," emphasizing the role of tourism in promoting global unity and peace. Alongside the awards, the students of IIHM displayed a colorful array of cultural performances and served a variety of regional cuisines from different parts of the country. The food, prepared by the students, was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees

Over 100 participants from various schools attended the event, and group photos were taken to commemorate the occasion. When asked about the celebration, Mrs Archana Misal expressed her joy, calling it "a celebration of knowledge and the spirit of learning."

Mrs Archana shared, “It was truly an honor to be recognized on such a grand platform. The hospitality and warmth we received made us feel incredibly special.”

 Mrs Naina Gamare added, “It was an unforgettable experience. Being celebrated for our work and efforts gave us a sense of fulfillment and joy. The performances and the overall event left us with wonderful memories.”
