BIS #5908 DRISTI DON BOSCO KAPADVANJ REACHES OUT IN SERVICE

Don Bosco Rural Integral Training Institute (DRISTI), the social wing of Kapadvanj Don Bosco Society has initiated an 'Relief Aid Outreach' to 65 villages of Kapadvanj Block in Kheda District of Gujarat. Prior to the Lockdown21, DRISTI had undertaken an awareness campaign by distributing leaflets with instructions to help prevent and combat the Covid-19 pandemic.
After undertaking a systematic study-survey with the help of Self Help Group [SHG] leaders and other stakeholders of 65 villages and in the neighboring parish Kathlal, the most needy people have been identified. These are being provided grocery-provision consisting of 5kg rice, 1 kg tuver dal, 1kg moong dal, 1 ltr cooking oil, 3kg sugar, 250gm tea powder, 250gm chilli powder, 250gm turmeric powder, 1 packet of salt 1 pkt, 1 bathing soap and 5 washing soaps. About 130 families and over 500 individuals have thus far been aided with this kit.
In compliance with the civic and district administration directives, the official service pass was obtained from the Mamlatdar's office, and the distribution which has been initiated will continue till the end of the lockdown.
