BIS #6523 Don Bosco Nerul ' World of Miracle and Magic'

Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul celebrated Children’s Day with great zeal and zest on 18th November 2021.
The programme had a series of interesting and exciting events, all planned meticulously keeping the health and safety of all stakeholders. The programme began with the Principal Father Blaise Fernandes and Supervisor Vivena Rodrigues along with student representatives lighting the lamp to propel out darkness and spread positivity and assurance of better days.
The recorded Prayer Service on the theme “You are the Rainbow of our Lives” was presented. Through the Prayer Service teachers prayed for the welfare of the children across the globe.
Father Fernandes while addressing the gathering spoke about the need to recognise the potential every child has been bestowed by the almighty. He regaled the listeners with anecdotes of his experiences with students of varied spectrum.
Rector Father Barnabe D’souza in his video message wished that the students retain their childhood innocence, exuberance and fun throughout their lives. He encouraged students to become the flag bearers of the innovative initiatives in the education process.
The assembly hall buzzed with excitement and joy as the students participated in the games organised by the teachers. Go for the Queen, Build me Up, Feed me, were some of the fun-fair games being organised for the students.
The 02-hour programme concluded with the energetic students leaving the school with gifts and bag full of stories about their special day.
Teacher Kiran Mhatre mentioned that the heartfelt appreciation by the students was the testimony of the importance of a school and teacher in the life of every student. Princita Pais, a student of class X was thrilled by the fun games saying, “We had great fun after a very long time."
