Michael Magone Oratory of Don Bosco Youth Centre, Koregaon Park, along with Don Bosco Suraksha, organized a film at PVR cinemas, Phoenix Mall, Viman Nagar on Sunday, 17 July 2022.

The film was sponsored by BookMyShow, and the arrangements and correspondence were looked after by Mr Anthony Mascarenhas, a member of the Past Pupils Unit of Dominic Savio, Andheri. About 100 kids from the Gadge Maharaj Basti benefitted from this benevolent gesture.

The idea behind organizing this screening was to give these kids a unique experience. For the vast majority, this was the first experience at a theatre; while for others it was the first 3D film they had ever seen! The kids were treated to the exciting animated film: Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022) dubbed in Hindi. As part of the package, they were each given popcorn and soft drinks. The children were accompanied by Cl. Ian Pinto, the animator of the oratory, an animator from Don Bosco Suraksha and a few volunteers.
