On 2 July 2022, the brothers of Divyadaan, Nashik, visited the Bosco Samajik Vikas Sanstha, Walvanda, for an orientation programme. They will be helping in conducting Math and English classes in 8 Ashram schools in Mokhada and Jawhar Talukas.

Mr Prakash Wagh, the project coordinator, associated with BSVS for over 15 years, coordinated a session for the brothers with the help of the staff and the community of BSVS. He gave a general outlook of the various tasks and social works initiated in the 74 villages and among the tribals. Fr Anaclete D’Mello, the Rector, briefly spoke about the culture of the tribes, their way of living and their expectations from the brothers.

The next day, Fr D’Mello and Fr Johnson Kshirsagar took the brothers to their respective schools to interact with the students. The orientation programme concluded with lunch, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Cleric Leroy Mascarenhas.
