An important part of a school is the relationship shared between teachers and parents. Don Bosco Academy Alirajpur has its connected faculty of PTA members which creates an enthusiastic environment between the child's school world and his/her family life.
On August 19, 2025, at 5 p.m., the institute along with all the coordinators and management welcomed new PTA members and gave farewell to old PTA members who have given their service for two years.
The program began with short prayer led by Tr Smita, the Coordinator of pre-primary section. Tr Sophiya, the Coordinator of primary section, led the program. Tr Shubhra, the Coordinator of higher secondary section helped Tr Sophiya to introduce the members of the PTA both old and new through the screen; starting with the outgoing members followed by the newly elected members. Tr Sophiya elaborated on the tasks carried by the old members and the beautiful memories they have created. She also welcomed the new members to be part of the institute with their whole heart and mind.
Fr Cyril, the Manager, welcomed the new PTA members to become the connecting bridge between school world and family life and thanked the outgoing PTA members for the wonderful service which they have rendered towards the growth of the institute.
Fr Charlin, the Principal, with his words stressed on importance of education that Don Bosco has given all over the world and helped them to understand the important role they have in the life of students and how can they collaborate with other members of the PTA and the teachers. He also shared two to three incidents stating how the PTA members stood with the institute when support and help was needed.
The institute felicitated the PTA members, both the new and the old. The old PTA members received a frame of all the members as a token of love.
The outgoing PTA members shared their sentiments through their words; many of them said how the management helped them and allowed them to collaborate. They shared their experiences and the achievements their children have gained through their studies in the school. They have a lot of expectation from Don Bosco as they consider themselves a part of this family. At the end they made their memories come alive with a short video clip, showcasing all the events they had enjoyed as PTA members and asked the new PTA team to do the same.
During the vote of thanks Mr Gahlot, the Coordinator of the High School section, labelled the PTA members as extended hands of the institute. The program wound up with sweet memories they shared with each other.
