On September 26, 2025, Don Bosco Kindergarten, Nashik celebrated Father’s Day with immense joy, enthusiasm, and heartfelt participation from students and their fathers. The celebration was a touching tribute to the love, guidance, and support that fathers provide in their children’s lives.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed Principal, Fr Rixson, whose encouraging presence made the event even more special. In his inspiring address, he highlighted the irreplaceable role that fathers play in nurturing values, discipline, and confidence in young minds. His words deeply resonated with everyone present and set the tone for a truly meaningful celebration.
The event began with a warm welcome, followed by a short prayer to invoke blessings upon all fathers. The young learners of the Pre-Primary section showcased their affection and appreciation through delightful performances—including songs, rhymes, and dances dedicated to their dads. The joy on the children’s faces and the pride in their fathers’ eyes created a heartwarming and emotional atmosphere.
To strengthen the father-child bond, the school organized a series of fun and engaging activities. These included “Dad and Me” drawing sessions, friendly races, and interactive games that encouraged teamwork and joyful interaction between the fathers and their little ones. The activities were filled with laughter, excitement, and special memories.
A highlight of the celebration was when each child lovingly presented their father with a handmade card or craft, prepared in class with great care and creativity. This simple gesture overflowed with emotion and conveyed deep gratitude and love.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Fr Rixson, who expressed his sincere appreciation to all the fathers for their presence and active involvement. He also commended the teachers for their dedication in planning such a meaningful event and encouraged continued collaboration between parents and the school in shaping the lives of the young learners.
Overall, the Father’s Day celebration was a resounding success—filled with emotion, joy, and bonding. It not only honoured the fathers but also reinforced Don Bosco’s commitment to nurturing strong family-school partnerships through memorable experiences.
