The stage at St. Dominic Savio High School, Andheri, burst into life on November 11, 2025 as young Savions from the Primary Section took centre stage for “Savion’s Got Talent” — a dazzling celebration of creativity, courage, and childlike wonder. The air was charged with excitement as the audience witnessed a colourful display of budding talent, each act revealing the spark that makes every child unique.
Rooted in the belief that “each child shines in their own special way, adding colour to the world around them,” the event aimed to give students a space to express themselves beyond academics. The event was a grand culmination of auditions and elimination rounds, ensuring every child had an opportunity to participate.
The young performers from Standards I to IV showcased an impressive range of talents. The stage echoed with melodies from the keyboard, tabla, piano, dholki, xylophone, and mouth organ. Stories came alive through expressive storytelling, mime, monologues, shadow puppetry, and even enchanting magic tricks. The energy soared with captivating displays of karate, gymnastics, and martial arts, while others painted, mimicked, or recreated the sounds of the animal kingdom with astonishing accuracy. Each act reflected not just skill, but imagination, confidence, and joy.
The event was judged by Sir Haydn Dias and Brother Kanishk , who watched in admiration as one performance after another lit up the stage. They praised the young participants for their enthusiasm and originality. Sir Haydn, in his closing message, urged students to keep nurturing their gifts, reminding them that true talent shines brightest when it is shared with confidence and heart.
The hall resonated with laughter, applause, and pride — proof that the young Savions had not only entertained but also inspired. Parents, teachers, and students alike were reminded that talent comes in many forms and that creativity blossoms when given the right stage.
“Savion’s Got Talent” was more than a competition — it was a joyful reminder that within every child lies a spark waiting to glow. And on that day, every Savion truly shone.
