Don Bosco English Medium School, Chhotaudepur, celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit on November 29, 2025. The event commenced at 8:30 a.m. with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest, Dr Paul Vasava, the Chief District Health Officer of Chhotaudepur district, along with the school management team, staff members, students, and parents.

 The program began with the torch-lighting ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of sports, unity, and discipline. This was followed by the invocation of God’s blessings, seeking divine guidance for the successful conduct of the event. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students assembled on the ground in their respective houses.

 The Manager of the school addressed the gathering and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated efforts and hard work of the teachers and staff in organizing the event. He encouraged the students to participate actively and wished them success in all their remaining competitions. His words inspired the students to give their best with sincerity and sportsmanship.

 In his inspiring address, Dr Vasava appreciated the school’s continuous contribution to the field of sports and holistic development. He emphasized the importance of physical fitness, mental strength, and spiritual well-being in shaping the overall personality of children. He also highlighted the need for students to adopt a healthy lifestyle from a young age. He assured his continueous support to the institution in the coming year.

 Following the inaugural ceremony, the final athletic events of 100 meters and 200 meters, relay races were conducted with great excitement. The ground was filled with cheers and applause as the young athletes showcased their speed and teamwork. The much-awaited tug of war added more thrill and energy to the program. Special entertainment events were organized for the parents as well, bringing joy and laughter to the gathering.

 The prize distribution ceremony was conducted with honour, and prizes were presented to the winners by invited dignitaries, management members, and special guests. The joy on the faces of the winners reflected their hard work and determination.

 The event concluded at 11:20 a.m. with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, staff, parents, and students for their cooperation and support. The day ended on a joyful note, leaving behind beautiful memories of teamwork, discipline, and true sportsmanship.
