On Friday, December 19, 2025, Don Bosco English Medium School, Narukot, celebrated its 5th Annual Day under the inspiring theme "Born to Fly High". The event began at 9:30 a.m., with Scouts proudly escorting the dignitaries: Chief Guest Sr Mary Francis RJM (Daughters of Jesus and Mary), Principal of Jesus Mary School, Halol; Fr Elson Barretto, Rector of Don Bosco Narukot community; Fr Daresh Rathwa, Principal; and Fr Vinay Ganava, Vice Principal. Parents, students, and teachers gathered to witness students soaring toward their potential.
The program opened with heartfelt words of welcome. Fr Elson Barretto introduced Chief Guest Sr Mary Francis RJM and welcomed the gathering. This led to the Felicitation of the Chief Guest, where Sr Mary Francis RJM and guests like Sr Britta received garlands and mementos amid warm applause.The ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp symbolized enlightenment and ambition. A graceful Prayer Dance sought blessings, aligning with the theme's lofty spirit. Nursery students enchanted everyone with a joyful Welcome Dance, marking a vibrant start.
Sr Mary Francis RJM addressed the gathering, highlighting Annual Day as a celebration of the school's vision. "When the school and home walk together, the child blooms," she said, quoting Don Bosco "Make the youngsters know that they are loved." Embracing the season, she described it as one of self-giving and wished everyone a Happy Christmas in advance, motivating all to fly high.
