Piloo Mody High School, Narukot, celebrated its 34th Annual Day on December 12, 2025 with great enthusiasm and pride. The school premises were adorned with vibrant decorations, reflecting the joy and energy of the occasion. Students, teachers, parents, past pupils of Piloo Mody High School, Narukot and distinguished guests Mr Michael Menezes and his family gathered at 9:30 a.m. to witness the grand event, which highlighted the school’s achievements and cultural diversity.
The programme began with Fr Elson Barretto welcoming the Chief Guest, Fr George Carlos, Mr Michael Menezes and his family members. His warm words set the tone for a memorable day. The guests were felicitated and the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolized the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a beautiful prayer dance, which filled the air with serenity and devotion. Fr George Carlos addressed the gathering, sharing inspiring thoughts on education, and his cherished memories at Narukot. He congratulated the senior staff members Mrs Saroj Parmar, Sheetal Chauhan, Mr Ramesh Rathva and Mr Shailesh Chauhan who were present during his tenure as Principal of Piloo Mody High School. His speech resonated with students and parents alike, reminding everyone that “The future depends on what you do in the present.” His words encouraged the students to strive for excellence and make the most of their opportunities.The cultural programme showcased the rich heritage and talent of the students. The Marathi dance captivated the audience with its rhythm and grace. The energetic Garbo, “Udi Udi Jay” performed brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The Rajasthani dance and the Hindi film dance highlighted the diversity of Indian culture. The Timli dance and the Nari dance were equally impressive, displaying the students’ dedication and creativity. The Adivasi dance was a tribute to the indigenous traditions of India.
The presentation of the School Annual Report provided a comprehensive overview of the academic and extracurricular achievements of the past year. The scholarship ceremony, recognized the hard work and dedication of deserving students of the academic year 2024-25.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and guests. The National Anthem was sung with pride, before departing.
