Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, hosted the much-awaited Bosco Cultural Fest 2025–26 on October 14, 2025, celebrating the rich cultural and artistic heritage of India. The event brought together students from Senior KG to Grade XII, who participated in a series of creative competitions designed to showcase India’s traditions, art forms, and values. The fest was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr Girish Dalvi, along with the Management Panel of Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, whose presence added to the grandeur and significance of the celebration. Their encouraging words inspired students to pursue excellence with creativity and cultural pride.
With the theme “Celebrating India’s Heritage”, the fest offered a colourful platform for students to express their creativity through art, music, dance, dramatics, and craft. The competitions were held across different grade categories, reflecting age-appropriate skills and cultural understanding.
Highlights of the day included events such as “Peacock Palette Parade” for Senior KG, “Humari Dharohar” Poem Recitation and “Mitti Ki Soch” Clay Modelling for Grades I and II, and “Rang Birangi Pehchaan” Fancy Dress with Speech for Grades III and IV. Students of Grades V and VI impressed with their artistic flair in “Parampara Ke Chehre” Mask Making and “Virasat Ki Vaani” Advertisement Pitch, both of which creatively celebrated India’s folk and traditional crafts.
The middle school students (Grades VII and VIII) took sustainability to the stage through “Wasted Wonders” Plastic Bottle Art and “Living Legends – Virasat Ke Nayak” Character Dramatization, while senior groups performed impactful street plays under “Chaurahe Pe Charcha”, addressing the theme “Preserving Our Heritage in a Changing World.”
Senior students of Grades IX and X showcased classical music and theatre through “Heritage Speaks” Monologue Showcase, “Rhythms of India” Instrumental Extravaganza, and the group dance competition “Unity in Diversity – The Tapestry of Indian Dance Traditions.” The senior-most participants from Grades XI and XII impressed with their eloquence and artistry in “Sanskriti Samvad” Declamation and “Swar Gatha” Indian Folk Song Competition, culminating with “Lens-e-Hindustan” Vlog Channel Competition, where students creatively presented India’s cultural diversity through digital storytelling.
The fest was a celebration of creativity, confidence, and cultural consciousness, encouraging every participant to connect with India’s heritage in meaningful and modern ways. The judges commended the students for their enthusiasm, originality, and commitment to excellence.
The Bosco Cultural Fest 2025–26 successfully reflected Don Bosco’s educational vision of integral development, combining creativity, collaboration, and cultural pride.
