On February 7, 2026, Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, celebrated Gratitude Day with great warmth and enthusiasm. The occasion became a memorable one, filled with appreciation, togetherness, and joy. The celebration was thoughtfully organised to honour the dedication of the staff members and to acknowledge the invaluable support of their families, who were cordially invited to be a part of the programme.
The event commenced with a solemn prayer service, setting a reflective and thankful tone for the day. The prayer emphasised how the management, staff members, family members, PTA, and students together form a strong and united tree, rooted in shared values, nurtured by mutual support, and growing through cooperation and gratitude. The presence of staff families added a homely and joyful atmosphere, making the celebration even more meaningful.
A variety of cultural programmes, including songs, dances, and short presentations, were organised by students and staff. These performances beautifully conveyed messages of appreciation, unity, and mutual respect.
A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of the members of the management—Fr Royal, the Rector; Fr Rixson, the Principal; Fr Pannasingh; and Fr Leon—for their constant guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support in the growth and development of the institution. Their vision and commitment were acknowledged with heartfelt words of gratitude, recognising their significant role in fostering a nurturing and value-based educational environment.
In response, the management expressed their sincere appreciation to the staff members for their dedication, sincerity, and hard work, and to their family members for being a strong pillar of support behind every staff member. This mutual exchange of gratitude strengthened the bond between the management, staff, and their families.
Adding joy and excitement to the occasion, various games were organised for the staff members and their families. These activities brought cheer and laughter, encouraging interaction and bonding among all present. Prizes were distributed to the winners, further enhancing the festive spirit of the day.
The programme concluded on a happy and fulfilling note with a dinner, where staff members, their families, and the management shared moments of fellowship and joy. The Gratitude Day celebration at Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, stood as a heartfelt expression of appreciation and togetherness, leaving everyone with cherished memories and a renewed sense of belonging to the Don Bosco family.
