DB-ACE Chinchwad hosted a grand Convocation Ceremony for its regular students, graced by dignitaries from Knorr-Bremse and Don Bosco. The event marked a proud moment for the institute’s ongoing DB-ACE project and its commitment to skill development.
Fr Anton D’Souza, Director of the institute, warmly welcomed the guests and students. In his address, he highlighted the significance of the DB-ACE initiative and acknowledged the generous support extended by Knorr-Bremse. He proudly mentioned the first batch, which notably has a higher number of female students, and appreciated the active involvement of Knorr-Bremse officials throughout the institute’s programs.
Mr Martyn Perkins, Executive Director, Knnor Bremse Global Care APAC expressed his admiration for the dedication shown by both the students and the institute. He personally distributed certificates to the graduates, recognizing their efforts.
Mr Arun Bhist, Sr Vice President, Sales and Marketing, KBI CVS praised the perseverance and performance of the female students. He also complimented the institute’s focus on developing soft skills alongside technical training.
Students from both the regular and Agentic AI batches shared inspiring stories about their learning journey at Don Bosco. They praised the state-of-the-art lab facilities and dedicated faculty for their invaluable support.
Opening the event on a vibrant note, the students prepared colorful rangoli designs and arrived in traditional attire, adding cultural richness to the occasion.
Knorr-Bremse representatives pledged continued support and guidance to Don Bosco. They also toured the Women in Refinish lab, expressing appreciation for the increasing number of girls pursuing trades traditionally dominated by men.
The Management was delighted to announce the official launch of LinkedIn page: Don Bosco Technical Institute (Vyawasaik Prashikshan Kendra). This platform will serve as a bridge to connect and collaborate with professionals, industry partners, and the community.
DB-ACE Chinchwad has announced a new Python course available every Saturday. This course is open to both college students and working youth, offering a valuable opportunity to enhance their skills in Python programming for career growth and personal advancement.
DB-ACE Chinchwad is actively reaching out to marginalized sections and youth, providing them with state-of-the-art facilities and a strong platform to excel and build a bright future. The institution focuses on empowering disadvantaged youth, including school dropouts from poor households, through holistic education, professional technical training, and skill development aligned with industry demands.
