Don Bosco English Medium School, Chhotaudepur joyfully celebrated its Fourth Annual Day on January 17, 2026 with the inspiring theme “Together We Make a Home.” The program commenced at 5 p.m. on the school campus in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, gratitude, and togetherness. The event was a memorable occasion for students, parents, staff, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the fruits of a year-long journey of learning and formation.
The Chief Guest for the evening was Mr J. K. Parmar, District Primary Education Officer (DPEO), Chhotaudepur District. His presence added great value to the celebration. In his address, Mr Parmar highly appreciated the holistic education imparted at Don Bosco English Medium School. He acknowledged the sincere efforts of the management and teachers, especially the dedication and hard work involved in preparing the Annual Day program. He expressed his admiration for the students, particularly appreciating the confidence and fluency of children who anchored the program in English, reflecting the school’s commitment to quality education.
One of the highlights of the evening was a short drama presented by the students. The play beautifully portrayed the reality of many modern families living in today’s fast-moving, technology-driven world. Through meaningful dialogues and expressive dances, the drama conveyed how excessive use of gadgets leads to emotional distance within families. The performance carried a strong message: families must reconnect through daily conversations, sharing, and quality time to truly become a “home.” The audience responded with warm applause, deeply touched by the relevance and clarity of the message.
The program also included the felicitation of students who excelled in academics, co-curricular activities, and other fields. Their achievements were celebrated, motivating others to strive for excellence.
In his address, Manager Fr George Carlos expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Principal and staff for their painstaking efforts in organizing the Annual Day so efficiently and meaningfully. Fr Selvin D’Mello, the Principal, thanked the teachers, students, and parents for their cooperation, commitment, and support, which made the celebration a grand success.
At the conclusion of the program, parents expressed their appreciation and joy, stating that they were thrilled to witness such a well-organized and inspiring performance. The Annual Day truly lived up to its theme, reminding everyone that togetherness, love, and shared values make a home.
