Kawant, November 3, 2025: To promote team spirit, relaxation, and connection with nature, DISHA Don Bosco, Kawant organized a one-day exposure-cum-outing for its staff to Devmogra, a beautiful natural spot in the Sagbara block of Narmada District. The day combined moments of recreation, reflection, and bonding, helping the team strengthen their unity and shared purpose.
The group of 18 enthusiastic staff members began their journey early in the morning from Don Bosco Kawant, divided into two vehicles filled with laughter, songs, and cheer. The lively travel itself became a symbol of cooperation and joy. A brief stop for breakfast on the way added to the sense of caring and sharing among all.
After nearly five hours of travel, the group reached Devmogra, a serene destination surrounded by lush forests on the border of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The scenic beauty of the area immediately refreshed everyone’s spirits. Devmogra is known not only for its picturesque landscapes but also for the temple of Goddess Devmogra, revered as the patron deity of the local tribal communities. After visiting the temple, offering prayers, and capturing memorable photographs, the group proceeded to Dediapada for a delicious lunch.
Post lunch, the next destination was the Vishal Khadi Camp Site at Dediapada — another breathtaking location nestled amidst greenery and calm waters. The staff members enjoyed the peace and charm of the place, soaking in the tranquility and the harmony of nature. The moments spent there were truly rejuvenating, filled with camaraderie and joy, as the team took time to appreciate the beauty around them and preserve it through photographs.
On the return journey, the group made a stop near Netrang, where a natural lake has formed due to the backwaters of the Karjan Dam. The stunning scenery — surrounded by hills and lush vegetation — offered the perfect setting for a relaxing boat ride. The boat trip added an adventurous and memorable touch to the outing before the team set off for their return to Kawant.
The exposure-cum-outing proved to be a refreshing and enriching experience for the DISHA Don Bosco team. Spending time amidst nature and in one another’s company strengthened bonds of friendship, fostered deeper understanding, and reinforced their collective commitment to work together for the mission of Don Bosco.
The day ended with hearts full of gratitude, laughter, and renewed energy to continue their service with enthusiasm and unity — truly a day of joy, togetherness, and renewal.
