The Social Science Exhibition 2025 was held on September 22, 2025, in Halls 6 and 7 at Don Bosco High School, Matunga from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The students of Std V and VI, under the guidance of their Social Science teachers and with the support of Mrs Daksha Tandel, Supervisor of Std V & VI, presented a variety of creative and informative projects.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Fr Godfrey D’Souza, Rector, and Fr Flovi D’Souza, Principal, who appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue exploring their academic interests with enthusiasm. Their words of motivation inspired the young learners to pursue knowledge with greater curiosity and dedication.
The projects prepared by Std V included models and charts on measurements of time, prehistoric and historic periods, conventional signs and symbols, and the solar system. Students also showcased 3D models depicting the formation of the Earth and the evolution of mankind. Std VI students, on the other hand, presented detailed charts and models on the Vedic and Harappan civilizations, the physical divisions of India, and the effects of greenhouse gases. They also displayed intricate models of water transport, volcanoes, and globes.
Students from Std IV, V, and VI visited the exhibition and showed keen interest in the displays, making the event lively and engaging. The exhibition proved to be a valuable platform for students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and presentation skills while deepening their understanding of social science concepts.
The Social Science Exhibition 2025 was a resounding success, highlighting the importance of interactive and project-based learning in education. It not only reflected the dedication of the students but also emphasized the role of such events in nurturing curiosity and holistic development among young learners.
