The Induction Ceremony at Don Bosco ITI, Chinchwad commenced with a spirited greeting from the host, who extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries, faculty members, guests, and students gathered for the institute’s new academic journey. Renowned for its diverse trades and exceptional infrastructure, Don Bosco ITI once again showcased its commitment to educational excellence and holistic development.
A special highlight was the presence of Chief Guest Mr Mohammad Iqbal Sayyed, HR – Learning & Development Coordinator at TATA Motors Limited TMCV Pune. Mr Sayyed’s impressive credentials include a degree in Automobile Engineering, a post-graduate advanced diploma in Industrial Safety, and a Government of India patent, underscoring his industry expertise and dedication.
The welcome also embraced key institutional figures: Fr Anton D’Souza (Director and Rector), Fr Colbert da Silva, Fr Bosco D’Mello, and Principal Mr Nilesh Chandgude, each acknowledged for their unwavering support and leadership.
Embodying the theme “Igniting Hope, Inspiring Futures,” the ceremony moved to a symbolic celebration as Mrs Mary William and Fr Anton D’Souza led a rendition of the Hope Song. During their performance, dignitaries — including Chief Guest Mr Iqbal Sayyed, Sir Nilesh Chandgude, Sir Thomas, Ms Simran, and select student representatives — participated in a candle-lighting, signifying the collective spirit of hope within the Don Bosco community.
After the musical tribute, Sir Nilesh Chandgude formally introduced the Management and faculty members, recognized as the pillars of strength for the institution.
Fr D’Souza then offered a moving address, inspiring students and staff to pursue excellence and uphold the institute’s values.
The program’s centerpiece was the keynote address by Mr Sayyed, whose insights and experiences in the field of automotive engineering provided guidance and motivation for the young attendees. His speech was met with appreciation and enthusiasm, affirming the institute’s mission to prepare students for dynamic careers.
Concluding the ceremony, Sir Gorgile proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors to the event’s success. The proceedings ended with the rousing Institute Anthem, with all attendees joining in to affirm unity and purpose.
