Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, hosted the fourth edition of DBSN Model United Nations (DBSN MUN'26) on July 17 and 18, 2026, bringing together 190 delegates from more than 20 schools and 95 in-house students for two days of diplomacy, debate, and collaborative problem-solving. The conference was supported by 16 Executive Board members, 50 Organizing Committee members, and three teacher coordinators, Mrs Parul Amar Saxena and Mrs Yogita Hiramani Pokhriyal, which gave students a platform to develop leadership, research, negotiation, and public-speaking skills through simulations of global and national decision-making bodies.

The conference began with an Opening Ceremony inaugurated by IAS officer Dr Kailas Shinde. Also present were Rector Fr Barnabe D'Souza, Administrator Fr Allwyn Misquitta, Catechist Fr Joyston Machado, Principal Mrs Kalyani Chaudhuri, Vice Principal Br Royston Colaco, Headmistress Mrs Jyotsna D'Souza, Supervisors Mrs Mahek Khan, and Mrs Lisa Dominic, and Curriculum Developer Mrs Cleona Quadras. Fr Barnabe D'Souza presided over the opening ceremony and delivered an inspiring speech encouraging students to give their best throughout the event. Principal Mrs Chaudhuri felicitated the Teachers in Charge for their efforts in organizing the conference. The Secretariat then introduced itself to the delegates, followed by an introduction of the Executive Board. With a single strike of the gavel, the Secretariat officially called the committee to order, marking the commencement of debate.

Delegates participated in nine committees, each led by a Chair and Vice Chair, addressing global and national concerns. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC), led by Co-Chairs Aditya Tripathi and Utkarsh Patil, examined escalating tensions between Iran and Israel. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), led by Chair Adit Kumar and Vice Chair Arjun Mishra, deliberated on transnational criminal syndicates involved in arms trafficking, illicit drug trade, and human exploitation. The All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), led by Chair Ansh Morey and Vice-Chair Ranveer Singh, discussed the effectiveness of India's Anti-Defection Law. The Historical Lok Sabha (HLS), led by Chair Gaurav Sharma and Vice-Chair Devkrishna B., analyzed the impact of India's 1991 Balance of Payments Crisis on national development and economic sovereignty. The Special Crisis Committee (SCC), led by Chair Jai Melwani and Vice-Chair Shiv Talesara, engaged delegates in crisis simulations on international alliances and shadow diplomacy. Junior delegates, under Co-Chairs Yog Rai and Neetsaachee Ahuja, explored Democratic Governance in SDG 16, while the Multiverse Crisis Committee (MCC), led by Chair Dhruv Mishra and Vice-Chair Renée Rodrigues, responded to fictional inter-dimensional scenarios. The Media Journalism committee, led by Chair Shriya Rajan, and the Media Photography committee, led by Chair Deon Dandekar, documented proceedings throughout the conference.

Delegates took part in moderated and unmoderated caucuses, crisis updates, round-robin discussions, resolution drafting, negotiations, and voting procedures over the two days, working to analyze different perspectives, negotiate consensus, defend policy positions, and propose solutions to the issues under discussion.

The conference concluded with a Closing Ceremony attended by Ms Divya Mohan as Chief Guest. Delegates and committees were recognized for their performance in research, diplomacy, and leadership during the conference.

DBSN MUN'26 was organized by Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, as part of its programme of experiential learning activities for students.
