DB-ACE Chinchwad, successfully concluded its Special Vacation Course for students of Classes 10 and 12 with a vibrant convocation ceremony held on campus. The course, designed by faculty member Auxilin Fernando, focused on introducing students to practical applications of artificial intelligence, digital creativity, and emerging technologies.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome address by Auxilin Fernando, who expressed gratitude to the chief guest, parents, and students.

The chief guest for the occasion, Mrs Savita Travis, an accomplished educationist known for her contributions to teaching, leadership, and institutional development, graced the event. She is a recipient of prestigious recognitions including the Best Teacher Award, Super 30 Award 2025, and the Excellence in Education Award presented by Hon. Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari in 2022. 

In her speech, she commended the students for utilizing their vacation productively and encouraged them to continue learning and growing. Emphasizing that “what you make of your time today will shape your future tomorrow,” 

Highlighting the importance of continuous learning, she motivated students to make meaningful use of their skills and contribute positively to society. 

The ceremony continued with the distribution of certificates, during which the top three students were awarded books in recognition of their performance.

Students also shared their experiences during the course. Tianna Bob expressed her gratitude to the Don Bosco team, stating that the course enhanced her confidence in using AI tools and enabled her to create web applications independently. 

Similarly, Sharwari Shinde shared that the course transformed her summer into a productive learning experience.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Auxilin Fernando, who acknowledged the contributions of Fr Anton D'Souza, Mr Nilesh, Mr Ashay, Knorr Bremse Global Care.

She also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the students, describing them as a curious and enthusiastic group that made the course memorable.
