DB-ACE Chinchwad marked a milestone in youth empowerment with a vibrant convocation ceremony for Python Batches 2 and 3. The event drew applause for the graduates' grit and featured two esteemed guests: Ms Debanjana Das, CSR Head at Knorr-Bremse Global Care, and Mr Ashwinkumar Gadhave, a 19-year veteran of the institute's Administrative Department.
Mr Gadhave's unwavering dedication shone through his daily commute from Lonavala, embodying the perseverance he inspires in students.
Ms Das, a steadfast ally of Don Bosco's initiatives, praised the Advanced Computer Lab's transformative role. She beamed at the rising number of women in Batch 3, urging them to chase careers beyond traditional roles. Both dignitaries honored the graduates by presenting certificates, symbolizing a bridge from learning to real-world success.
Python Batch 2, spanning December to April, welcomed 20 ITI students, most encountering coding for the first time. Instructors adapted creatively to their challenges, fueling mutual motivation. Last week, eight students aced the Python exam; others missed it due to job training but carried valuable skills forward. Standout graduate Aditya Pasage shared, "Python opened my eyes to automation via PLC kits. Heartfelt thanks to Ashay Sir and Auxi Ma'am for their guidance, and Knorr-Bremse for free access to this life-changing education."
Batch 3, a dynamic weekday program from February 9 to March 27, drew diverse learners. Lawrence, traveling from Fatima Nagar, called the journey "worth every mile," lauding the state-of-the-art infrastructure and instructors' patience in reteaching concepts.
Homemaker Bhagyashree's story stole hearts: supported by her family, she ventured into tech and now eyes advanced courses and employment. "This is my fresh start," she said.
The ceremony underscored Don Bosco Chinchwad's commitment to bridging skill gaps in IT and vocational training, especially for underserved youth. With partners like Knorr-Bremse, the institute fosters perseverance, innovation, and inclusion—empowering the next generation of coders.
