On June 6, 2026, the First Annual General Body Meeting of Parents for the 2026-2027 academic year at Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, commenced with a formal welcome to the management, faculty, and parents. To invoke blessings, a solemn prayer was led by Stuti, a student of Standard X. Following this, the new member of the management, Fr. Wyman Gonsalves, the Rector, was warmly introduced and felicitated, followed by an introduction of the school management team. This initial phase concluded with an inspiring inaugural message delivered by Fr. Rector, setting a collaborative tone for the school year.
The administration’s core directives were delivered across multiple sessions, including the official address by Fr. Rixson, the Principal and a briefing on school rules and regulations. Gratitude was also extended to the outgoing committee members during the felicitation of the 2025-2026 PTA. Throughout his addresses, Fr. Principal emphasized four critical areas vital to student development: outlining the institution's core philosophies within the school vision, emphasizing physical well-being under health and fitness, addressing responsible device usage through digital discipline, and introducing basic economic awareness via financial literacy.
A core component of the meeting featured a comprehensive seminar session bridging academic expectations and personal development. Tr. Sneha led a vital segment focusing on the academic ecosystem and mutual accountability. Her presentation broke down the pedagogical strategies necessary to achieve academic excellence while outlining the explicit responsibilities required in the role of students and the supportive behaviours expected from parents.
Shifting the focus toward emotional intelligence, Tr. Anagha conducted the final segment. Her session on emotional wellness addressed mental health awareness and providing children with a safe psychological space. She further clarified the educator's commitment as a mentor in her discussion on the role of the teacher, while her discourse on values and future readiness defined the core moral principles required for students to navigate an evolving world successfully.
In conclusion, the meeting established a collaborative roadmap for the new academic year. By aligning the management's vision, the teachers' strategies, and parental responsibilities, the seminar reinforced the collective commitment required to nurture disciplined, resilient, and well-rounded individuals.
