Chinchwad, June 10: Don Bosco ITI, Chinchwad organized a Graduation Day Ceremony for trainees of its Automotive Skill Development Program at the institute’s auditorium on June 10. The event marked the successful completion of training and celebrated the achievements of students who completed the course.
The ceremony was attended by trainees, faculty members, institute representatives, and distinguished guests associated with the automotive training initiative. Among the guests were Abhishek Gajbhiye, Assistant Manager at TSL Foundation; Swapnil, Sales Manager at Hyundai; Fr Shekar Mariadas, the Rector and Director of the institute; and Nilesh Chandgude, Principal of the institute. Representatives from six Hyundai dealerships were also present.
Certificates were awarded to the graduating students in recognition of their successful completion of the program. The event highlighted the role of skill-based education in preparing young people for employment opportunities in the automobile and service sectors.
The Automotive Skill Development Program focuses on developing practical technical skills, workplace discipline, and job readiness. During the training, students gained exposure to automotive systems, service procedures, safety practices, and industry standards. The graduation ceremony served as a milestone in their learning journey and encouraged them to apply their knowledge and skills in professional environments.
Alongside the graduation ceremony, the institute conducted a campus recruitment drive for Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) trainees. Representatives from six Hyundai dealerships participated in the interview process, providing students with opportunities to explore careers in the automotive industry. The recruitment drive enabled trainees to interact directly with industry professionals, understand workplace expectations, and pursue potential employment opportunities.
Institute representatives commended the students for their dedication and perseverance throughout the training program. They encouraged graduates to continue enhancing their technical expertise while maintaining professional values such as punctuality, responsibility, teamwork, and continuous learning.
The presence of industry representatives, faculty members, and invited guests added significance to the occasion. The certificate distribution ceremony and campus interviews were the key highlights of the day, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to connecting vocational training with meaningful employment opportunities.
