In a resounding celebration of skill and innovation, Don Bosco Chinchwad hosted the valedictory program for the second batch of the EV Charging Installation Technician course. This milestone event marked the successful completion of training for 30 dedicated trainees, equipping them with cutting-edge skills for India's booming electric vehicle (EV) sector.
The 45-day intensive program, a collaborative initiative between The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi, and Don Bosco Chinchwad, drew participants from across Maharashtra. Trainees travelled from far-flung regions, united by a shared ambition to pioneer sustainable mobility solutions.
The curriculum blended hands-on technical training with grooming and counselling, ensuring holistic development. Don Bosco's faculty invested immense energy in nurturing each student's potential, fostering not just technical expertise but also professional discipline and confidence.
The ceremony brimmed with inspiration, graced by esteemed guests Mr Nilesh Chandgude, Principal, and Fr Bosco D'Mello. Mr Chandgude commended the trainees' unwavering dedication, urging them to embrace emerging technologies like EV infrastructure as gateways to national progress. Fr. D'Mello echoed these sentiments, highlighting skill development's role in youth empowerment amid rapid industrial shifts. Their words resonated deeply, igniting a sense of purpose among the graduates.
A highlight was the remarkable placement success: 21 trainees secured immediate employment opportunities through Don Bosco's robust placement cell. This achievement underscores the program's efficacy in bridging classroom learning with real-world jobs, validating TERI's funding and Don Bosco's execution.
The event culminated in a solemn certificate distribution, followed by heartfelt votes of thanks. Don Bosco Management extended profound gratitude to TERI for sponsoring the batch, praising the mobilization team, faculty, and placement cell for their tireless contributions. Stakeholders, trainers, and participants were all acknowledged for transforming vision into victory.
