Don Bosco School, Borivali, organised its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027 to entrust young leaders with positions of responsibility and inspire them to lead with integrity, service, and commitment. The ceremony was conducted in the presence of the Rector, the Principal, the Administrator, the Management, the Co-ordinator, staff members, students, and parents, making it a memorable occasion that celebrated leadership rooted in the values of faith and service.
The programme commenced with the arrival of the dignitaries, followed by a prayer service and Scripture reading, invoking God's blessings upon the newly elected student leaders. The reflection on servant leadership encouraged students to understand that true leadership lies in serving others with humility, compassion, and dedication.
The School Captain and School Vice-Captain were formally presented and invested with badges and sashes as symbols of trust, honour, and responsibility. They solemnly took the oath of office and received the School Flag, signifying their commitment to uphold the vision and values of the institution. The House Captains and Vice-Captains were thereafter introduced, invested with badges and sashes, administered the oath of office, and presented with their respective House Flags. The ceremony continued with the investiture of the Class Monitors, Assistant Class Monitors, and Discipline Prefects, who also pledged to discharge their duties with sincerity, responsibility, and dedication.
Addressing the gathering, the Rector and the Principal encouraged the newly elected leaders to lead by example, embrace responsibility with humility, and serve the school community with honesty and commitment. Their inspiring messages reinforced the importance of selfless leadership and teamwork in fostering a positive school environment.
The Investiture Ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Rector, the Principal, the Management, the Co-ordinator, teachers, parents, and all those whose guidance and support contributed to the successful conduct of the programme. The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder that leadership is a privilege founded on service, responsibility, and the pursuit of excellence.
