St. Joseph’s High School, Wadala had the privilege of hosting the Principals’ Consultation Meeting (Sahavichar Sabha) for the academic year 2026–2027, organised by the Office of the Education Inspector, Brihanmumbai South Division, on August 4, 2026. As per the official circular, the meeting was convened for principals and headmasters of aided secondary schools and junior colleges across the South Mumbai Division to discuss important administrative and academic matters for the current academic year.
The school warmly welcomed all the principals, headmasters, and dignitaries with tea and snacks before the commencement of the programme. The student leaders of St. Joseph’s High School, under the guidance of Mrs. Cressieda and Mr. Atul, graciously received and greeted the guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning.
The programme began at 11:20 a.m. with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a short prayer led by the Principal of St. Joseph’s High School, Fr. Solomon Rapol.
The Signing Authority of the school, Ms. Marilyn Dias, then began with the introduction and felicitation of the dignitaries. The guests of honour included Dr. Vaishali Veer, Education Inspector, Brihanmumbai South Division; Mrs. Sangita Mane, Education Deputy Inspector; Mr. Prashant Mahabole, Education Deputy Inspector; Mr. Gajanan Mandade, Education Deputy Inspector; Mr. Ganesh, Education Scheme Inspector; Mr. Tatya Mali, Superintendent, Pay Unit; and the various resource persons and speakers for the day’s programme.
This was followed by a brief presentation introducing St. Joseph’s High School, Wadala, highlighting its rich legacy, academic achievements, and the many significant educational, cultural, and co-curricular programmes conducted by the institution.
The consultation meeting featured a series of informative sessions by education officials and subject experts. The discussions covered a wide range of important topics including UDISE and SARAL systems, APAAR ID, student promotion, Aadhaar updation, school portal procedures, pre-primary registration, correction of student records, non-salary grants, student safety measures, alumni associations, teacher awards, regular singing of the State Anthem, scholarship schemes, art education, physical education, vocational education, NCF/SCF implementation, literacy initiatives, Scout and Guide registration, PAT assessments, VSK dashboard usage, inclusive education, RTE school recognition, digitalisation, salary and medical bill procedures, scholarships, Drug Free Mumbai initiatives, PTA and School Management Committee matters, etc. The official agenda allocated dedicated sessions to these administrative and academic priorities, with concluding guidance from the Education Inspector.
As the host institution, St. Joseph’s High School ensured that all those present were comfortably accommodated throughout the day. Tea and refreshments were once again served at the conclusion of the programme, reflecting the school’s warm hospitality and meticulous planning.
The meeting concluded at 6:20 p.m. with a vote of thanks and words of appreciation from the dignitaries and participants. Special gratitude was expressed to Fr. Solomon Rapol and the staff of St. Joseph’s High School, Wadala for their exceptional hospitality, efficient organisation, and the thoughtful arrangements that made every guest feel comfortable, welcomed, and at ease throughout the day.
