A special Germany Opportunities Seminar was successfully organised by SYM Don Bosco Kapadvanj on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Divine Mercy Shrine, Salun, under the guidance of Fr. Ashwin Macwan, SDB, Director Amrutdhara Don Bosco. The seminar was organised with the aim of providing young people and interested participants with authentic information about opportunities in Germany related to higher education, career, employment, professional training and lawful pathways for long-term settlement.
The programme began with an opening prayer, seeking God's guidance and blessings for the gathering. This was followed by the welcome and opening remarks by Fr. Ashwin Macwan, SDB, who welcomed the resource person, guests and participants and highlighted the importance of making informed and responsible decisions when planning one's education and career abroad.
As part of the programme, the guests were felicitated. Mr. Arpit Desai was felicitated by Fr Macwan, while Fr. Arul, Parish Priest of Divine Mercy Shrine, Salun, was felicitated by Heet, Media Secretary SYM Don Bosco Kapadvanj.
Mr. Arpit Desai, Founder and Owner of Ausblik Consulting, Germany, was introduced to the gathering by Darshil Solanki, Secretary, SYM Don Bosco Kapadvanj. Mr. Arpit Desai, who is based in Germany, shared his practical experience of studying, living and working in the country.
Mr. Arpit Desai conducted the main seminar session on “Study, Career, Work and Settlement in Germany.” He provided participants with practical information about the various possibilities available in Germany and explained how individual profiles, qualifications, skills and career goals can influence the choice of an appropriate pathway. The session helped participants understand that planning for Germany requires accurate information, proper preparation and the use of genuine and lawful channels.
The seminar was followed by an interactive Question & Answer session, during which participants freely raised their questions and sought clarification regarding studies, careers, employment, professional qualifications, language requirements and settlement possibilities. At the conclusion of the programme, Fr Macwan expressed his sincere appreciation to Mr. Arpit Desai and also thanked the entire SYM Don Bosco Kapadvanj team for their dedicated efforts in organising the programme. He also expressed gratitude to all the participants and well-wishers who supported and attended the event.
The Germany Opportunities Seminar was a meaningful initiative of SYM Don Bosco Kapadvanj, providing young people with an opportunity to access practical information and make better-informed decisions regarding their future. The programme concluded with tea and snacks, followed by the departure of the participants.
