On July 22, 2026 Don Bosco Primary School, Dakor, had the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–2027 under the theme "Leadership with Responsibility."

The programme began with a prayer led by the students in the presence of the School Manager and Principal, Fr Pravin Makwana, and the Institution Administrator, Fr Dinesh Vasava.

During the investiture ceremony, the Principal warmly welcomed all the parents and expressed gratitude for their presence. He emphasized that parents are the first teachers of their children and highlighted the importance of their active participation in the overall development of every child. Parents were encouraged to maintain regular communication with the school and support their children's education.

Fr Dinesh Vasava addressed the parents with an inspiring message. He reminded them that children spend only about 6–8 hours in school, while they spend 16–18 hours at home. Therefore, parents play the most significant role in shaping their children's character. He urged parents to love, respect, discipline, and give quality time to their children. He also encouraged them to assist their children with studies, ensure regular attendance, monitor the use of mobile phones, and promote healthy daily habits.

The school also conducted an awareness session on educational development and discussed ways in which parents can actively contribute to their children's academic progress.

The newly elected leaders took the oath of office, pledging to fulfil their responsibilities with sincerity, honesty, discipline, and dedication. The Principal administered the oath and explained the duties and responsibilities of the student leaders. The elected students accepted their responsibilities and promised to uphold the values and reputation of the school.

The ceremony concluded with words of encouragement from the dignitaries, who wished the newly elected leaders success in their responsibilities and encouraged them to become role models for their fellow students.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all the parents, staff members, and students for making the event a grand success.
