Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, organised a Career Presentation Programme titled “The World of Design” for the students of Class XI Science C on August 20, 2026. The programme aimed to provide students with meaningful exposure to the creative design industry and its growing career opportunities.
The programme was conducted to help students understand design as a professional career option and to encourage creativity, innovation and practical thinking. It aimed to connect students with industry-oriented knowledge and motivate them to explore careers according to their interests, abilities and strengths.
The event was graced by Mr. Rehan Sarang, Lead UX Designer. As an experienced professional with a strong academic and industry background, he provided valuable insights into innovative thinking, practical design skills and future career possibilities. His presence made the session informative and inspiring for the students.
The presentation explored four important areas of design: Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design and Game Design. Students were introduced to the diverse applications of creativity and technology in these fields. The session highlighted how design combines imagination, communication, problem-solving and technical skills to create meaningful products and experiences.
Students of Class XI Science C participated with enthusiasm and interest. The programme helped them recognise that design is not limited to drawing or artistic ability but also involves research, technology, planning, user understanding and innovation. The interaction encouraged students to think beyond conventional career choices and consider emerging opportunities in the design sector.
The Career Presentation Programme was an enriching and motivating experience for Class XI Science C. “The World of Design” successfully created awareness about various design disciplines and encouraged students to explore their creativity as a potential career strength. The guidance and practical perspective shared by the Guest of Honour contributed significantly to the students’ learning and career awareness.
