On July 31, 2026, Don Bosco School and Junior College, Nashik, celebrated Mother's Day with immense joy and enthusiasm for the students of Pre-Primary to Std. IV. The celebration was organized to honour the unconditional love, care, and sacrifices of mothers while strengthening the beautiful bond between mothers and their children.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries and all the mothers, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing wisdom, hope, and love. Mrs. Janhavi Nagare, the Chief Guest, a Certified Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Kathak Dancer, and Trainer, was then introduced to the gathering. Her inspiring mission to empower women to become confident, courageous, and purpose-driven leaders made her presence especially meaningful for the occasion.

The audience was then spiritually enriched through a graceful Prayer Dance, invoking God's blessings upon all mothers and families. The young students presented a touching skit and action song, expressing their heartfelt love, gratitude, and appreciation for their mothers. Their innocent and lively performances filled the atmosphere with warmth and earned thunderous applause from the audience. Adding colour and excitement to the celebration, the mothers themselves took to the stage with an energetic dance performance, showcasing their enthusiasm and creating unforgettable moments with their children.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr Rixson Nigrel sdb emphasized the irreplaceable role of mothers in nurturing faith, values, and character in children. He encouraged students to honour and respect their mothers every day through love, gratitude, and kindness.

In her inspiring address, Mrs. Janhavi Nagare spoke about the strength, resilience, and selfless love of mothers. She encouraged mothers to believe in themselves, continue inspiring their children through their example, and nurture strong family values that shape a better future.

The celebration concluded with exciting spot games for the mothers, filling the campus with laughter, joy, and togetherness. The event ended on a memorable note, leaving every participant with cherished memories and a renewed appreciation for the invaluable role of mothers. A mother's love is the foundation upon which every child's future is built. Let us honour and cherish our mothers not just today, but every day of our lives.
